About us Silk Painting Is Fun offers the wonderful art and craft of painting on silk! From age 3 to 93 -- from the "artistically challenged" to the experienced and trained artist. Once you touch the paintbrush to the silk, you too will find that Silk Painting is Fun! Our products can be used to produce astonishingly beautiful pieces to decorate your home or office, to be worn, or to be admired as a formal work of art. Painting on silk is soothing to the soul and is amazingly therapeutic. Try it, and you will understand. Our resident artist, Ute Bernsen has been painting on silk for nearly 18 years. Ute currently travels to different areas of the country teaching classes and giving workshops, and would gladly teach a class for you at your location when she is in your area. Ute can plan lessons at whatever level you desire, from beginning painting to advanced technics, and garment painting. Art & Silk offers the combination between the soft silk and other materials. |
